Longarone is a town on the bank of the Piave, close to the borders of Veneto with Friuli-Venezia Giulia. It is situated at the foot of Dolomites, in the province of Belluno, northeast Italy.
At 35 kilometres from Belluno and around 100km from Venice, Longarone sits in a pitoresque landscape bordered by the Alps and River Piave.
Malcolm Lake is situated 100m from River Piave and 1km from Strada Statale 51.
Specialy made for Trout Area Competitions, the lake is made in a rectangular shape, with concrete and gravel banks. The bottom is clear with very clean water from river Piave.
The size of the lake is 40 x 70 meters and around 2.5 meters in depth.
