This control blends hot and cold water and delivers it at a safe and comfortable pre calibrated and non user adjustable temperature of 41 Deg. Celsius. It employs a temperature sensitive element which expands and contracts depending on the temperature of the water entering the mixer tap. This expansion and contractions alters the size of the apertures through which the hot and cold water enters the tap; thereby balancing and controlling the outlet temperature of the water and in doing so greatly reduces the risk of scalding accidents.
